County of SLO Libraries Fine Amnesty- FAQ
1) What is overdue fine amnesty?
From January 2 – 31, 2019, the County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries will welcome back its overdue books and the patrons that read them. During the month of January only, you can return overdue materials to any of our libraries and the Library will forgive your past and present fines. Your record will be cleared, and you can use your library card again.
2) How does it work?
• Bring any undamaged, overdue library materials to the circulation desk at any of our libraries.
• The library will forgive the overdue fines. Other fees may be excluded from this offer.
