REFERENCE FEES: OBITUARY SEARCHES: Name with exact dates: $10.00 per name Name without exact dates**: $15.00 per name up to ½ hour. Additional searching after the first half hour will be charged at $15.00 per ½ hour and done only if the Librarian believes there is a reasonable chance of finding more information. **If the person died in San Luis Obispo County, you may want to first inquire with the Clerk-Recorders Office about getting a death certificate. Please include any names, places, dates, etc which might help in locating the information. If the Librarian does not believe there is a reasonable chance of further information being found the question will be returned to the patron. Please submit request and self-addressed stamped envelope for our reply. If the Librarian believes there is a reasonable chance of finding more information the charge will be an additional $15.00 per ½ hour of research, but before any additional research is done, the patron will be contacted for approval of additional expenses.
