Use Agreement for Internet Access

I understand that by using this workstation,

I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by each and all of the policies and rules governing a Library computer workstation and Internet use at the San Luis Obispo City-County Library.
I understand and acknowledge that a Library Internet computer workstation provides full and unfiltered access to all of the materials available on the Internet and World Wide Web.
I further understand and acknowledge that I am totally responsible for my choice and access to the various materials which are available through the Internet at a Library computer workstation.
I further understand and acknowledge that neither the County of San Luis Obispo nor any of its officers, employees, or agents have any duty or responsibility to control or in any other way be responsible for my choice and access to the various materials which are available through the Internet at a Library computer workstation.

Therefore, as consideration for my being permitted to use a Library computer workstation and access to the Internet, I hereby agree not to make a claim against or sue the County of San Luis Obispo or any of its officers, employees, or agents for injury or damage resulting from the negligence or other acts, howsoever caused, by any officer, employee, or agent of the County of San Luis Obispo regarding my use of a Library computer workstation and/or access to the Internet.

As further consideration for my being permitted to use a Library computer workstation and/or access to the Internet, I agree to defend, indemnify and save harmless the County of San Luis Obispo, its officers, agents, and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, judgments or liability arising out of my use of a Library computer workstation and/or access to the Internet.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AGREEMENT TO INDEMNIFY CONSTITUTING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE WORKSTATION USER AND THE COUNTY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO WHICH I HAVE ACCEPTED OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

I accept the terms of this agreement and wish to proceed.
